MCDONALD'SMetaveste

We created McDonald’s France first wearable, a faithful 3D replica of the real jacket, optimized for Decentraland. To boost engagement, we developed an AR try-on filter and a social teaser video. A Twitch live event hosted by influencer Bichou and an Instagram contest allowed users to participate for a chance to win both the physical and digital jacket.

SOCIAL CONTENT & COMMUNICATION
To generate excitement and engagement, we produced a teaser video for social media, amplifying the campaign’s visibility. The video introduced the Metaveste, teasing both its physical and digital versions, and setting the stage for the Web3 activation. Additionally, we developed a 3D animated fabric simulation for the physical jacket’s photoshoot, reinforcing the visual identity of the drop.

INTERACTIVE TRY-ON EXPERIENCE
To make the wearable more accessible and interactive, we created a Snapchat AR filter, allowing users to try on the jacket in augmented reality before winning it. This digital extension helped engage a wider audience beyond Web3 enthusiasts.

WEARABLE DESIGN & AUGMENTATION
Inspired by the actual jacket, we designed a 3D model optimized for Decentraland. The goal was to stay as close as possible to the physical piece while ensuring it functioned within the platform’s constraints. The final model balanced visual accuracy and technical optimization, bringing McDonald’s merch into Web3.
